SUMMARY:Mary's Meals - Lettie
DESCRIPTION:Mary’s Meals is now feeding over 3 million\, hungry children living in some of the world’s poorest countries – all made possible by a series of lots of little acts of love.  The work is named after Mary\, the mother of Jesus\, who brought up her own child in poverty.\n\nOn MONDAY 24 AUGUST at 7 p.m. In St Mary’s Forebank Hall there will be a showing of the short film “Lettie” which tells the story of a young girl who\, with her siblings\, was struggling with hunger following the loss of their parents.  Being able to attend school\, receive a meal every day and make the most of her education she has blossomed into a thriving\, capable\, confident young woman.  The film lasts for 36 minutes following which there will be the chance to ask questions and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.\n\nPLEASE COME ALONG to share in this heart-warming story.  All welcome.
