ST THOMAS’ ARBROATH Over the past three plus years the Franciscan Capuchin Fathers, Fr. Peter OFM Cap and Fr. Joseph OFM Cap have ministered in St Thomas’ Arbroath. Fr Peter, since he completed his studies, has returned to Kerala but I am glad to welcome Fr Victor OFM Cap to the parish of Arbroath and I have decided that St Thomas’ once again ought to become a separate entity. Accordingly, I appoint Fr Joseph James OFM Cap as Administrator of the parish. Fr Joseph has now almost completed the degree in Psychology he has been pursuing since he arrived. Sometime in the near future he may return to Kerala, whence Fr Victor will take over the administration of the parish. Fr Victor, who has an honours degree in English Literature, may also in the near future minister wider afield when the need arises. For the moment, both friars will continue to live together in Arbroath and either one or the other friar would be available for emergency supplies.
