Clergy changes – Autumn 2021

Bishop Stephen Robson recently announced the following Clergy appointments in the Diocese of Dunkeld:

Fr Samuel Alabi MSP, parish priest at Our Lady of Sorrow’s, Fintry has been recalled for service to his Religious Congregation after seven years in the Diocese of Dunkeld. He will take up a new appointment in London.

Mgr Neil Gallagher, at present parish priest in Pitlochry, will become parish priest at Our Lady of Sorrows, Dundee from the weekend of 13th/ 14th November.

Fr Emmanuel Adindu MSP will arrive in our Diocese on October 28th, and will be resident for a few weeks at the Cathedral until he takes up an appointment in the parish of Pitlochry.

Mgr Basil O’Sullivan, Parish Priest of Holy Family, Dunblane will move to Our Lady’s, Auchterarder, where he will be parish priest.

Fr Louis Uwaezuoke, who has been the resident priest serving the people of Newport and Tayport, has been appointed the Administrator of Holy Family, Dunblane with effect from 13th/14th November 2021.

From 13th/14th November 2021, Canon Kevin Golden cease to be Parish Priest of Newport and Tayport, and Provost Patrick McInally will now serve the combined Fife parishes of Cupar, Tayport, Newport and Auchtermuchty.

In addition, Fr Jude Mukoro has been appointed assistant priest to Provost Patrick Mclnally, serving these combined parishes of Cupar, Newport, Tayport and Auchtermuchty.

Fr Sebastian Polack SDS, who arrived in the Diocese a few weeks back, has been appointed assistant priest at St Mary’s, Lochee and as Chaplain to the Polish Community in Dundee.
