Cupar Pilgrims in Spain

39 parishioners from St Columbaโ€™s, Cupar and their parish priest Canon Pat McInally took part in a Family Pilgrimage to Salamanca. The pilgrimage began at the Royal Scots College, Salamanca, and included a visit to the tomb of St Teresa at Alba de Tormes. After the celebration of Mass the group enjoyed a picnic lunch on the river bank. The group also visited St Josephโ€™s Convent, Avila, where Mass was celebrated in the Chapel where Jesus appeared to St. Teresa. Pilgrims also visited La Granja and enjoyed a spectacular fountain display in the Royal Palace Gardens.

The final highlight of the pilgrimage was the celebration of Mass at the tomb of St John of the Cross at Segovia.
