St Clement’s parishioners and friends gathered on Sunday for Mass and a garden party to say farewell to their Parish Priest Fr Johney Raphael CST as he leaves the diocese for a sabbatical year.

He will stay around Dundee until December when he will return to his home in Kerala, India.
The parishioners thanked Fr Johney for his wisdom, compassion, deep commitment and faithful service to them during the last 10 years.
On behalf of the parishioners, Bernadette Dailly said, “You have touched many lives offering comfort, guidance and joy. We are saddened to see your go and will miss your beautiful smile and trust that your journey ahead will be filled with grace and purpose. Farewell but not goodbye Fr Johney, you will always be a part of our St Clement’s family and hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Fr Johney for walking with us in faith.”
Bernadette Dailly presented him with a cheque and cassock from the parishioners..
It was a beautiful day and a few of the younger congregation did a dance and song for him in the gardens.
