The Council of the Laity held its final meeting on Saturday, 7 July, 2018, at the Pastoral Centre.
Bishop Stephen thinks that the time has now come for the formation and implementation of a Diocesan Pastoral Council especially now that a Constitution for the Diocesan Pastoral Council has been written. The content will form the basis of further discussion at the forthcoming Council of Priests’ meeting. Parishes will be invited to nominate a representative and the first meeting of the Diocesan Pastoral Council to be held before Christmas.
