The Diocese of Dunkeld is excited to announce the launch of a dynamic new youth initiative — the Dunkeld Youth Association (DYA). This initiative is pioneered by Fr. Michael Ngobili, recently appointed as Diocesan Youth Director, and driven by the young people of the diocese to take forward and build upon the foundations laid by the former Dunkeld Youth Service (DYS).
The new DYA aims to build a strong, vibrant, and welcoming community which actively contributes to the spiritual, social and personal growth of young Catholics across the diocese, through engaging, faith-filled activities and events.
To mark the official launch of the Dunkeld Youth Association, the first event — a Young Adults Quiz Night — will take place on Sunday 25th May. This promises to be a fun-filled evening of faith, fellowship, and friendly competition, and all young people (18-30) across the diocese are warmly invited to attend.Event details, along with promotional materials and media, have been circulated to encourage parishes, schools, and families to help spread the word and support this important initiative.
