Welcome Evening

Our annual Welcome Evening was a great success this year. Fr Andrew Kingham led a beautiful Mass for over 300 guests made up of S1 pupils and their families. The theme of new beginnings, represented by the light of Christ, permeated the celebration. After Mass we had a social gathering as a community. Overall it was a wonderful evening and a very spiritual experience for the newest members of our community.

Retreats

It was a real privilege to welcome a team from Net Ministries into school last week (19th and 20th Oct) to lead two full days of retreats with S1 and S2. This vibrant and energetic team of very special young people led our pupils in prayerful, thought-provoking, interactive and reflective retreats. The Net Ministries claim to ‘challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church’. This was certainly evident in their work with our young people.

Memorial Mass

St Modan’s RC High School, Stirling held its Memorial Mass at 6.15pm on Wednesday 8th November 2017 in the school chapel.

This Mass will be celebrated by Fr Andrew Kingham, our school Chaplain. We have also extended an invitation to all of our parish priests to concelebrate the Mass. At this Mass we will remember all the members of our community who have died over the last twelve months and pray for their souls. This Mass is open to all members of our community so we would be delighted for any members of the public to join us in prayer on this evening.

Feast Day Celebrations 2018

We are delight that Bishop Robson has agreed to lead our Feast Day celebrations on the 2nd February 2018, during Catholic Education Week. Bishop Robson will be the main celebrant for our whole school Mass and, we hope, join us for some St Modan’s Day fun!
