Andrew Mitchell Press releases

Just under 400 items were donated by the families at St Paul’s Academy, Dundee, for this years Christmas Food hampers. 20 boxes were dsitributed throughout the area – with plenty left over to go to our local Foodbank which is run by one of our parents. An added bonus for the recipients was the rendition of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, a capella, by the pupils.

Mr Carena also reports, “On December 17th we had our popular Kids and Carols service led by Mgr McCaffrey. The Senior pupils gave the readings. There were also Polish carols and Silent Night was signed for the hard of hearing.”

“Afterwards the wee ones were told the story of how the Robin got its red breast and then there was a surprise visit from Santa.”

“The end of term Karaoke included some of Santa’s helpers and a certain Red nosed Reindeer!”
