One of the joys of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is when the catechumens, and those giving them instruction, gather with Bishop Stephen on the first weekend of Lent for the Rite of Election.
In just a few weeks these candidates will receive the Sacraments that will bring them into communion with the Catholic Church.
Bishop Stephen called for prayers for the candidates, their sponsors and their teachers.
