Please come and listen to the well-known writer, papal biographer and Tablet correspondent Austen Ivereigh, as he presents live online the topic ‘Missionary disciples in a synodal Church: the future of faith in these Islands” How does the Church thrive in an age where it is no longer supported by culture? Pope Francis and now Pope Leo have called us to embrace an “apostolic “way of being Christian, capable of evangelising our age of belief.’
There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers and some time for small group discussions. The event will open with prayer followed by a short presentation by Maureen Ruddy: Synodality: Our journey so far.
Please note that lunch is not provided, therefore attendees may wish to bring their own snacks.
