Parishioners at St Mungo’s, Alloa, and St Serf’s, High Valleyfield, have been celebrating a number of special birthdays and anniversaries, bringing joy and thanksgiving to both parish communities.
At St Serf’s, High Valleyfield, congratulations were extended to Grace O’Brien, who celebrated her remarkable 97th birthday, and Bill Donald, who marked his 95th birthday. Both milestones were celebrated by the parish community last Sunday.
Meanwhile, at St Mungo’s in Alloa, John Madden celebrated his 80th birthday, while John and Margaret Fernmarked a particularly special occasion — their Golden Wedding Anniversary, celebrating 50 years of marriage.
These happy occasions provide an opportunity for both parishes to give thanks for the gifts of long life, faithful marriage, friendship and the enduring bonds of parish life.
The parish communities extend their warmest congratulations and good wishes to all those celebrating, praying that God, our loving Father, will continue to bless them with good health, happiness and many graces in the years ahead.
