Journey of Faith/RCIA: The next session of the adult Catechism “Journey of Faith” course, which look towards Confirmation and full Communion with the Catholic Church at Easter 2027, will begin again on Wednesday 9th September at 7pm, in St Mary’s Church Hall, Forebank Road, Dundee, and will run most Wednesdays in term time.

Macmillan Coffee Morning: This year’s coffee morning will be held on Friday 25th September from 10am to 1.30pm in SS Leonard and Fergus church hall. Tickets £1. Offers of home baking and raffle prizes very gratefully received.

Synodality:The final ‘Conversation in the Spirit’ in the ‘Feast for All Peoples’ will take place in St. Ninian’s church for 1 hour on Thursday 10th September at 7.00pm. All are welcome!
School Uniform Gifts: Thanks to all parishioners and friends who donated to our giving tree. This year’s collection was a mixture of school uniforms, store vouchers and money. St. Ninian’s Primary are very grateful and were able to identify families in need of uniforms for the start of the term.

Next weekend, 12/13th September: Please welcome a Xavier Father, who is coming to make an Appeal for their Missionary work, so there will be a Special Second Collection.
Open Afternoon: The Ladies of Holyrood Church have invited the Ladies of St Anne’s to their Open Afternoon on Wednesday 30th September at 2pm. The speaker is Prof Kirsty Kiesebrink and the talk is about bee keeping. The invitation is on the notice board; please add you name if you wish to attend.

Anniversary Mass: An Anniversary Mass for the Rev. Deacon Ian Gordon will be held on Thursday 24th September, @ 1000 at St Fergus’, Forfar.

RCIA: The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the official process by which the Roman Catholic Church welcomes and integrates adults into the faith. The Parish RCIA programme began on Wednesday 28th January 2026. If anyone else is interested in learning more, they are invited to attend the next session in the Church Hall on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. The point of contact is Bill Millar or the parish priest. The next session will be on 9th September at 6.30pm. Moving forward, the catechism session will take place once a month.
