St Ninian’s Primary School, Menzieshill, Dundee celebrated its Diamond Jubilee. Present staff were joined by staff from previous years along with pupils and ex pupils to celebrate with Mass which was led by Bishop Stephen Robson. Monsignors Ken McBride, Ken McCaffrey, and Charles Hendry also attended the wonderful celebration.

Bishop Stephen Robson presided at a Deanery of St Andrew’s Lenten Mass at St Thomas of Canterbury Arbroath. The deanery which St Thomas’, Arbroath, St Anne’s, Carnoustie, St .Columba’s Cupar, St Fergus Forfar, St Anthony’s, Kirriemuir, St Bride’s, Monifieth, St Margaret’s, Montrose, St Fillian’s Newport and Our Lady Star of the Sea, Tayport.

Family occasion at Newport
Grace Catherine Wylie, was baptised in St Fillan’s Church, Newport on Tay, on the 1st of November. Mum and dad, Jennifer and Marcus Wylie are pictured here with grandfather, Deacon Ron Wylie who conducted the baptism (of his seventh grandchild), assisted by Canon Pat McInally. Celebrations to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Mgr Charles Hendry (St Mary Magdalene’s, Perth) continue to be held throughout St Fillan’s Deanery in Dunkeld Diocese.
