Lay Societies hosting Family Fun Days across the Diocese

Andrew Mitchell Events

A series of Family Fun Days is being organised across the Diocese with the first one taking place in Montrose on 5th September, from 11.00 am – 3.30pm.

Representatives of the lay societies in the diocese will be there to give out information and talk to anyone who would like to know about the work being done. There will be an opportunity to find out more about the activities of the traditional lay associations – and some new ones too. Priests and parishioners from surrounding parishes are invited to publicise the event widely, encouraging as many as possible to attend.

There will be food available, bouncy castle, carousel, various games and activities for  children and adults, a magic show, and a mini-zoo.

Everthing is free!

Mass will be celebrated at 11am  in St Margaret’s, Montrose, for those who wish to attend and there will be music and piano recitals in the church during the day. Posters publicising the day will be displayed in churches throughout the diocese.

More fun days are planned for Callander, Perth, Tullibody and Dundee
