Sister Aloysius – a founder of the Lawside Romanian Fund
Sister Aloysius, the Sister of Mercy who co-founded the Dundee-based Lawside Romania Fund, has died at the age 89. She was still visiting the sick children of Bucharest’s Budimex Hospital on Sunday, the day before her death. Yesterday was the anniversary of Canon Michael Joseph Fahy, Parish Priest of St. Serf’s from 1929 – 1946. Canon Fahy was born on 19th March 1891 at Claremorris, Co.
