From babes in pushchairs to more senior parishoners, the largest crowd of parishioners and friends yet (about 50) gathered after Mass in St Anne’s on 1st July for the annual sponsored walk/ cycle to St Thomas’ Arbroath. After a brilliant morning on the coastal path, many more joined us for the BBQ in the Presbytery garden which turned into a joyous, parish – community social. A true “parish” day.
Says Canon Kevin, “A very sincere thank you goes to the priests for walking, all parishioners and friends who walked or cycled, all those who attended the BBQ, to Ronnie and Bill who valiantly manned the BBQ fires and most especially to all of you, the people from all our churches who donated and sponsored the walkers and cyclists.
The total raised so far is £1256”.
